SUMMARY:Project Common Ground (Greek)
DESCRIPTION:In alignment with the European theme\, “Europe is Stronger Together: Prioritise Mental Health in a Changing Europe\,” our Model School is to launch “Project: Common Ground”. This initiative recognizes that while the social and digital landscapes of Europe evolve\, our shared need for mental resilience remains the universal foundation upon which we build our future\, especially in Greece where migration has been under the spotlight for a long time. \nThe programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic excellence and emotional well-being through a multi-dimensional approach: \nPsychoeducation & Seminars: Multidisciplinary sessions offered by the school psychologist and health visitor\, providing students with the guidance and practical tools. \nTackling Stereotypes: Interactive workshops aimed at dismantling stigma and fostering a school culture rooted in empathy and inclusion. \nArt Exhibition: A creative showcase where students “visualize the invisible\,” using artistic expression to communicate their inner worlds and shared experiences. \nSocial Media Campaign: A digital movement designed for authenticity and positive mental health advocacy. \nBy establishing this “Common Ground\,” we aim to demonstrate that vulnerability and difference is not a weakness\, but a catalyst for collective strength. We are moving beyond the classroom to build a community where every student feels seen\, heard\, and supported\, and differences are celebrated. \nSocial Media Links \n\n– https://projectcommonground.wordpress.com/\n– www.instagram.com/project.common.ground.greece/\n– www.linkedin.com/company/project-common-ground/\n\n  \n

SUMMARY:MINDCARE Unmuted - Breaking the Silence on Mental Health in Romania (Romanian)
DESCRIPTION:MINDCARE Unmuted is a week-long programme by MINDCARE FOR ALL\, built around our report “Radiography of Mental Health in Romania” (mindcareforall.com/en/blog/the-radiography-of-mental-health-in-romania/) — an evidence-based analysis drawing on Eurobarometer 530 data (European Commission\, 2023). The report examines the state of mental health across demographic groups\, access to psychological and psychiatric services\, social stigma\, and policy recommendations grounded in scientific data. Key findings reveal a significant treatment gap: 42% of Romanians reported mental health difficulties in the past years\, yet over 60% did not seek professional support\, with high costs\, fear of judgment\, and distrust in services as the primary barriers. In response\, MINDCARE FOR ALL proposes a five-pillar action model covering national strategy\, governance\, anti-stigma action\, prevention\, and access to services. All events are organised in partnership with the Laboratory of Clinical Cognitive Sciences (https://www.laboratorstiintecognitiveclinice.ro/en/). \nThe week opens with an online event presenting the Radiography’s key findings — a data-driven portrait of how Romania is really doing. On Tuesday\, an in-person roundtable in Bucharest brings together policymakers\, practitioners\, and civil society to translate that evidence into policy action. Wednesday’s online event turns to the digital world\, exploring how digital transformation is reshaping mental health across Europe. Thursday brings young people together in Cluj-Napoca for a hands-on workshop on emotional regulation and mental self-care. The week closes on Friday with a panel of researchers\, practitioners\, and people with lived experience\, reflecting on what the data means for real lives. All online events are free and open to the public. SUMMARY:Grounded Together: Embodied Awareness for Wellbeing and Responsible Decisions (Italian)
DESCRIPTION:How we show up for others depends\, first\, on how present we are within ourselves. This is the core proposition of Grounded Together\, two online sessions offered during the European Mental Health Week 2026 by a methodologist and a speech-language therapists Phd in pedagogy\, both specialists in embodied learning and applied somatic awareness. \nAcross two 90-minute sessions\, teachers\, educators\, health professionals\, parents\, and members of the general public are invited to explore a simple but consequential insight: that the quality of our attention\, our decisions\, and our care for others is shaped by our bodily state by whether our nervous system is regulated or reactive\, open or contracted. \nSession one focuses on everyday connection\, in families\, classrooms\, care settings\, and communities\, and offers accessible\, experience-based practices to support genuine presence and responsive listening. Session two addresses decision-making under pressure: how to stay grounded when we must make choices that affect the wellbeing of children\, young people\, or vulnerable groups\, including in contexts where digital tools increasingly assist or substitute human judgment. \nBoth sessions use a secular\, scientifically grounded\, and participatory approach. No prior experience is required. Language is inclusive and free from clinical framing. \n  \nhttps://www.instagram.com/mariafabiani.eu/ \nhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/mariafabiani/ \nhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100014890231634
