SUMMARY:Member instead of Patient – How to Expand an International Model in a Changing Europe based on the Clubhouse Model
DESCRIPTION:https://clubhouse-europe.com/This event will bring together mental health professionals\, policymakers\, and individuals with lived experience to explore how we can collectively strengthen community-based mental health support across Europe. Aligned with the European Mental Health Week theme\, “Stronger Together: Prioritise Mental Health in a Changing Europe\,” the session will highlight the importance of collaboration\, inclusion\, and innovation in responding to evolving mental health needs. \nThe focus will be on the Clubhouse model as an evidence-based\, community-led approach that promotes recovery\, dignity\, and meaningful participation for people living with mental illness. Central to this model is the shift from “patient” to “member\,” emphasising equality\, empowerment\, and shared responsibility.
