These insights will highlight diverse\, practical approaches that can inspire action and adaptation across different contexts. \nThe webinar will: \n\n– Showcase real-world examples and their impacts\n– Highlight practical insights for implementation\n– Explore adaptation strategies to different contexts\n– Encourage cross-border learning and exchange\n\nParticipants will have the opportunity to: \n\n– Learn from real\, scalable mental health initiatives\n– Reflect on the needs of their own communities\n– Engage with a network of organisations working to improve mental health across Europe\n\nThis session is open to NGOs\, mental health advocates\, community leaders\, policymakers\, and anyone interested in strengthening mental health support at the local level. \nWebinar participants will also be the first to access GAMIAN-Europe’s new interactive quiz\, developed for European Mental Health Week 2026.\nBased on best practices submitted by our member organisations\, this quiz helps users discover which community-led mental health initiative best fits their local context. SUMMARY:Making Mental Health Visible: Data as a Tool for Rights
DESCRIPTION:Equitable societies invest in mental health. \nOur dashboards will give an idea of where we stand and where we can improve. \nMental health is shaped by poverty\, unemployment\, inequality\, and the strength of our social protections. Yet across Europe\, these realities are often invisible — and mental health remains underfunded. \n  \nAs part of EU Mental Health Week\, we are launching two new dashboards — designed for ongoing updates to reflect Europe’s evolving mental health landscape: \nOne mapping the prevalence of mental health conditions and the stigma. \nOne tracking policy action\, including investment\, service integration\, and workforce capacity. \n  \nThese tools offer a vital starting point — but they also reveal a critical gap: we urgently need more and more current data to drive real\, rights-based change.\nWithout better data\, there can be no true investment in mental health — and no resilient\, just and inclusive society \nJoin us to explore the evidence\, hear from key voices\, and call for mental health to be recognised and protected as a fundamental social right.\nTogether\, let’s turn data into rights — and rights into reality.
