SUMMARY:3rd Arts and Mental Health Festival in Aegina\, Greece
DESCRIPTION:The Art and Mental Health Festival\, organized by the Greek Carers Network EPIONI\, returns for its third consecutive year in Aegina\, from May 22 to 24\, 2025. Held under the auspices of the Region of Attica\, the Municipality of Aegina\, and the Hellenic Psychiatric Association\, the festival aims to raise awareness about mental health and promote art as a therapeutic and expressive tool for individuals living with mental health conditions.\nThe three-day multidisciplinary event will include workshops\, theatrical and musical performances\, visual and photography exhibitions\, and talks by experts and individuals with lived experience. Participants will explore themes such as parent-adolescent relationships\, stigma reduction\, and community inclusion through creative expression.\nHosted at the LaLiBay Resort & Spa\, the festival serves as a platform for artists\, caregivers\, mental health professionals\, and the public to come together\, share experiences\, and foster dialogue. This initiative is part of the European projects “Care the Carer” and HL4EU\, supporting cross-cultural collaboration and inclusivity in mental health awareness.
