SUMMARY:A tua Mente\, os teus Direitos | Your Mind\, Your Rights
DESCRIPTION:Taking place between 19th–25th of May 2025\, “Your Mind\, Your Rights” is a local initiative developed by Recovery Colleges Portugal in the context of the Eu Mental Health Week\, aiming to raise awareness about the links between mental health and social rights. It seeks to promote a broader\, rights-based understanding of mental health giving special emphasis to the social conditions that shape mental wellbeing. \nThe initiative includes a digital campaign (19–25 May)\, using impactful messages and personal reflections to highlight how social inequalities influence our mental health. \nOn the 24th May\, the community is invited to join a 30-minute talk designed to be intergenerational and accessible to all. It will explore how systemic inequalities affect mental health and how communities can support change. \nThroughout the day\, an “interactive wellbeing tent” at the “FisicaMente” event (UF Carcavelos & Parede) will offer creative\, engaging stations for all ages\, as a stage for reflection about mental wellbeing\, literacy and social rights. \nWe beieve this initiative aligns with EMHW 2025’s by advocating for mental health as a social and collective responsibility\, not an individual issue.
