Equitable societies invest in mental health.
Our dashboards will give an idea of where we stand and where we can improve.
Mental health is shaped by poverty, unemployment, inequality, and the strength of our social protections. Yet across Europe, these realities are often invisible — and mental health remains underfunded.
As part of EU Mental Health Week, we are launching two new dashboards — designed for ongoing updates to reflect Europe’s evolving mental health landscape:
One mapping the prevalence of mental health conditions and the stigma.
One tracking policy action, including investment, service integration, and workforce capacity.
These tools offer a vital starting point — but they also reveal a critical gap: we urgently need more and more current data to drive real, rights-based change.
Without better data, there can be no true investment in mental health — and no resilient, just and inclusive society
Join us to explore the evidence, hear from key voices, and call for mental health to be recognised and protected as a fundamental social right.
Together, let’s turn data into rights — and rights into reality.
