Project Common Ground (Greek)

In alignment with the European theme, “Europe is Stronger Together: Prioritise Mental Health in a Changing Europe,” our Model School is to launch “Project: Common Ground”. This initiative recognizes that while the social and digital landscapes of Europe evolve, our shared need for mental resilience remains the universal foundation upon which we build our future, especially in Greece where migration has been under the spotlight for a long time.

The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic excellence and emotional well-being through a multi-dimensional approach:

Psychoeducation & Seminars: Multidisciplinary sessions offered by the school psychologist and health visitor, providing students with the guidance and practical tools.

Tackling Stereotypes: Interactive workshops aimed at dismantling stigma and fostering a school culture rooted in empathy and inclusion.

Art Exhibition: A creative showcase where students “visualize the invisible,” using artistic expression to communicate their inner worlds and shared experiences.

Social Media Campaign: A digital movement designed for authenticity and positive mental health advocacy.

By establishing this “Common Ground,” we aim to demonstrate that vulnerability and difference is not a weakness, but a catalyst for collective strength. We are moving beyond the classroom to build a community where every student feels seen, heard, and supported, and differences are celebrated.
