This free online event presents the initial outcomes of the “What Europe’s Mental Health Ecosystem Needs to Thrive in 2026” initiative, which combines participatory input from organisations across Europe with an interactive digital ecosystem visualisation.

Organisations contribute short, structured inputs on their actions, challenges, and unmet needs. These are brought together within a shared interactive ecosystem (a landing page displaying a florarium with plants), where each organisation forms part of a living system shaped by different social, economic, and policy conditions.

The session will:

1. introduce the ecosystem as a way to make visible the diversity and interdependence of actors across Europe
2. highlight recurring barriers and unmet needs emerging from participating organisations
3. present initial directions for a short mental health ecosystem insight report

By combining visual representation with structured input from the field, the initiative offers a grounded snapshot of how mental health systems operate in practice and where support is most needed.
