Co-creating the future of mental health with children for children

May 13 - May 17

IN PERSON

Activities:

1. Workshops in Schools
We will join forces with young people and schoolteachers during interactive creative workshops on mental health in schools across Greece. Through these workshops, students will explore topics such as resilience, emotional well-being, and coping strategies in a supportive and inclusive environment. Led by experienced facilitators, these sessions will empower young minds and promote a positive attitude towards mental health.
2. Workshops Open in the Community: Workshops open in the community, featuring video presentations focused on mental health awareness and empowerment. These workshops will offer interactive sessions designed to foster dialogue, creativity, and collaboration. Participants will have the opportunity to learn, share, and co-create strategies for promoting mental well-being. They will have the chance to be part of a movement dedicated to building healthier and more supportive environments for all.
3. Open Houses: Families and neighbors of people with psychosocial problems will step into our welcoming residential houses during our Open Houses events, where they will connect with mental health professionals, learn about available resources, and engage in meaningful conversations, with music and finger food. From informative presentations to interactive activities, our Open Houses provide a valuable opportunity for community members to explore mental health topics and support services in a warm and inclusive setting.
4. News Release: We will announce a call to discover the latest updates and insights on our participation in the European Mental Health Week 2024 through our official News Release. To stay informed about our upcoming workshops, partnerships, and initiatives aimed at promoting mental well-being for adults and children throughout Greece, we invite everybody to join us in co-creating a future where mental health is prioritized and celebrated for all.
