European Parliament Intergroup on Mental Health Event: Care for Mental Health, Invest in Social Rights

Mental Health Europe is happy to invite you to attend the first event Mental Health Intergroup event organised in the framework of the 6th edition of European Mental Health Week.
Hosted by the Mental Health Intergroup co-chairs, the event will take place on May 20th from 16.00 to 17.30 in the European Parliament – ASP 5E1 – (and online.)
With the European Commission working on a new Action Plan to implement the European Pillar of Social Rights, this event aims to highlight the need for a comprehensive approach that includes expert insights from across the social rights and mental health sectors.
The Intergroup co-chairs MEP Maria Walsh (EPP), MEP Alex Saliba (S&D), MEP Jana Toom (Renew) and MEP Tilly Metz (Greens/EFA) are inviting policy makers and allies to discuss the role of European Pillar of Social Rights in promoting positive mental health and protecting the rights of persons with mental health problems.
Join us to engage in the discussion on the future of mental health in social policies and how the Intergroup on Mental Health will contribute to this.
