Proposed amendments to the Regulation on the protection of adults
In collaboration with EDF, Mental Health Europe has released proposed amendments to the Regulation on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of measures and cooperation in matters relating to the protection ofadults 2023/0169 (COD).
We call on the EU institutions and all EU Member States to promote and protect the rights of all in line with the CRPD, recalling their commitments made in the Council Conclusions on the Protection of Vulnerable Adults across the European Union adopted in 2021.
