Belonging Matters: From Loneliness to Community Connection
What if mental health wasn’t something we navigate alone but something we build together?
In a time when loneliness is increasingly recognised as a public mental health challenge, this interactive one-hour workshop explores belonging as a vital foundation for wellbeing. Because mental health is not only individual, it is shaped by our relationships, communities, and the environments we live in.
What you’ll explore
- – Why belonging is a core human need
- – How loneliness shows up in everyday life
- – Practical ways to navigate isolation and build connection
- – How communities and policymakers can create conditions for belonging
💡 What you’ll take with you
- – A deeper understanding of belonging and mental health
- – New perspectives on loneliness, without stigma
- – Simple, practical tools to strengthen connection
- – Inspiration to take action in your own community, whether as an individual, community member, or policymaker
Through reflection, interaction, and shared dialogue, this workshop offers a space to reconnect with yourself and with others.
Because mental health doesn’t happen in isolation it grows through connection.
