Dare to move

May 7 @ 18 h 00 min - 19 h 00 min

This event features an immersive workshop using the gamified tool “Atrévete a Moverte” to explore the intersection of forced migration and mental well-being from a community-wide perspective. Moving beyond the classroom, this session invites citizens from all walks of life to engage in a powerful role-playing experience that simulates the psychological and emotional challenges faced by refugees and migrants.

Participants will navigate the complex realities of displacement, confronting the mental health impact of structural racism, legal uncertainty, and social isolation. The event directly aligns with the EMHW 2026 theme, “Stronger Together,” by highlighting that mental health is a collective asset nurtured through solidarity. Our goal is to transform public and social spaces into inclusive environments where everyone—regardless of their background—can find a sense of belonging and dignity. By fostering radical empathy through storytelling and play, we aim to reduce the “uncertainty and fear” prevalent in a changing Europe, demonstrating that a community’s resilience is measured by how it supports its most vulnerable members. We stand together to ensure that mental health support is a universal right, not a privilege.
