Stronger Together: Prioritise Mental Health in a Changing Europe

European Mental Health Week 2026

“Stronger Together: Prioritise Mental Health in a Changing Europe.”

Europe is experiencing a period of profound transformation. Digital shifts, rising inequalities, growing pressures on young people, and uneven access to support systems all shape how we live, connect, and navigate the world. These changes can feel overwhelming, creating uncertainty and fear about the future. Yet amid these challenges, one truth remains constant: we are stronger when we stand together.

European Mental Health Week 2026 aims to reframe the narrative. Instead of dwelling on crisis, we focus on collective connection, resilience, and hope. Change is not only a source of pressure; it can be an opportunity to rebuild, adapt, and imagine better possibilities. This campaign reminds people across Europe that facing these crises and healing happens not in isolation, but through community, solidarity, and shared purpose.

Stronger Together is a call for unity in a historical moment of division and uncertainty: steady, human-centred, and hopeful. Stronger Together reminds us of what brings us together: our need for care, connection, and dignity. It is an invitation to people, organisations, and communities to move forward hand in hand, creating environments where everyone can thrive – at a time where we need it most.

How can you get involved with EMHW?

European Mental Health Week is a pan-European moment for collective action.

European Mental Health Week unites people and organisations across Europe to challenge stigma, advocate for rights-based mental health care, and address the social and political factors shaping wellbeing.

You too can join the movement – whether by hosting an event, engaging on social media, or supporting our initiatives – to help build a future where mental health is understood, valued, and protected for all.
